Simon is an award winning and BAFTA and RTS nominated showrunner and director who has built a career creating bold, high impact entertainment across broadcast television and digital. He has originated more than thirty commissions and delivered hundreds of hours of premium content for BBC, ITV, Channel 4, UKTV and online platforms including YouTube, Snap, Facebook Watch, Tastemade and Real Stories. His work is known for strong storytelling, inventive format design and a clear understanding of how people watch on different platforms. His online projects have generated more than 2 billion views including In Your Face for Real Stories and Channel 4’s Naked and Invisible which reached 125 million views in twenty four hours and set a new engagement benchmark for the channel.

Julian is a world class BAFTA nominated multi camera director whose versatility and experience place him among the most trusted hands in live entertainment. He has built a reputation for launching the UK and US’s biggest studio shows and capturing the energy of large scale live events with flawless precision. From COP28 in Dubai to the Big Brother relaunch, from two decades of Glastonbury to global moments like U2 Live from Broadcasting House, his work defines broadcast ambition. Equally at home in studio or on location, Julian moves effortlessly across genres. As a launch director he has shaped some of television’s most recognisable formats including The One Show and Pointless for the BBC, Queen of the Universe for Paramount+, and Name That Tune for FOX.
